Coalification has been one of focuses for coal geology and the organic geochemistry, in recent years, with the development of coal-generated hydrocarbon and coal bed gas, understanding of the mechanism of coalification is especially important. Coalification is essentially a process of the change of physicochemical structure and physicochemical properties under the influence of temperature, pressure and time. Therefore, understanding the change of physicochemical structure is the key to deeply knowing the mechanism and process during coalification. 13C-NMR, a non-destructive technique, can provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and has been widely used in the research of coal structure.13C-NMR analysis of ten low-medium rank coal samples were carried out in this article , the macromolecular structure parameters were obtained from curve-fitting , analysis the graph obtained by 13C-NMR. Taking C% and O/C as the coal rank parameters, the evolution tendencies of various function groups in coal and molecular structure parameters with the coal rank were analyzed systematically.
