In this paper, the nonlinear static deformations of simply supported, fixed supported and cantilever piezoelectric laminated beams under combined strong electric field and mechanical force and nonlinear dynamic characteristics of piezoelectric bending actuators under strong electric field has being studied .The mathematical model of piezoelectric laminated beam is obtained with a view to influence of the electrostrictive nonlinear piezoelectric effect, electroelastic nonlinear piezoelectric effects and geometric nonlinearity. The analytic expressions of deflection and displacement of the beams for various boundary conditions are obtained under combined electric field and uniformly distributed load. Using the asymptotic theory of nonstationary vibrations and Galerkin method, the dynamic characteristics of the laminated beams are obtained. By numerical calculation and analysis of Bimorph and Unimorph piezoelectric beams, the difference and applicable scope between linear and nonlinear models are found. And we also get the fundamental resonant frequency of piezoelectric slip simply supported beams with the variation in electric field The relations between predicted resonance amplitude of max deflections for the piezoelectric actuators and the electric field.
