Puruogangri neve locates in the middle of Qiangtang basin, in the hinterland of Qing-Tibet plateau, and it's one of the unusual neves in low-mid latitude area. It records the information of environment change, as well as the information of human activities, so that, this area became the hotspot to Quaternary researchers and ice researchers recently. So far, material related to powder structure features in ice core of this area is still rare. The author mainly researched the grain-size features and the configuration, as well as the surface structure features of the powder particle in ice core of Puruogangri, then, it is possible to expatiate the powder structure features in ice core of Puruogangri, as well as to probe into the cause of the powder in the core of Puruogangri further, and got these primary results bellow.(1) Analyzing the grain-size features of the powder particle in ice core of Puruogangri, we recognized, of the general ice core samples in the study area, the grain-size of powder particle mainly constitutes of sand and silt, especially featuring high sand content and very low clay content; and in six samples of No.5, No.9, No.10,No.11,No.14 and No.15, the grain-size constituting of powder particle is mainly of silt and clay, featuring silt content slightly higher than sand content, and quite low clay content. The grain-size frequency distribution curve of powder particle in ice core in this area shows single apex, positive or very positive, and a quite long thin cauda, which indicates the grain-size constituting of powder particle of this area has very high homogenization.(2) Among the ice core samples of the study area, psephicity of powder particle generally shows well-rounded, which figures relative long transit distance. By contraries, psephicity of powder particle shows poorly-rounded in 4 samples of No.5, No.7, No.10 and No.11, which figures limited transit distance. The most ice core samples in the study area, the surface structure features of powder particle mainly present surface structure of mechanical process, and less present surface structure of chemistry, which on one hand, explains the eolian cause of powder particle in ice core of this area, and on the other, explains the powder particle in ice core here mainly...
