The Application And Research Of The GIS Technology Based On XML In The ATC Adapt-data Management

Air traffic control(ATC) system is an important system on the real-time mission. With the rapid development of the aerial transport and the increasing air traffic flow, ATC system is playing a more significant role in ensuring the aviation safety, ordering the air traffic and improving the flight efficiency. The domestic ATC systems have a great improvement in recent years. But many deficiencies in the system design level prevent its farther development. The variance of the adapt data formats causes the over loading of the system capability and the complexity of the program interfaces. The system's expansibility and adaptability can't be ensured. The researches in this field are significant.The paper's emphasis is to research the method to design and realize the GIS module of the adapt-data subsystem in the development of the MRD-JH ATC system, based on the XML technology. The main content of the paper could be described as follow:Firstly, the requested functions of the adapt-data subsystem and its GIS module are analyzed.
