The Application Of Logial Gravity Inversion For Geologic Survey In The Northwest Of Heibei

Based on the geological survey projects to participate in the "Consequence of the investigation of 1:200000 regional gravity in the Northwest of Hebei" prepared, the essay discuss the application of the regional gravity survey in geological exploration in the northwestern region of Hebei. I Collected 1:200000 regional gravity and aeromagnetic survey data, seismism and geochemical data of Northwest of Hebei (114°—117°east longitude, latitude 40°—42°). By data processing, I took interpretation of qualitative and quantitative analysis, according to comprehensive study prepared on the basis of Bouguer gravity anomaly maps, and residual gravity anomaly and gravity anomaly maps of extension to different altitude plans, and gravity anomaly maps of different direction differential, the map of second derivative vertical differential, and a series of maps of data processing ,and△T aeromagnetic anomaly maps…etc, I studied the characteristics of the regional gravity field of the studying area, infer and interprete the rift zone and its location, occurrence, scale; delineation of the regional distribution of sedimentary basins and undulation of the basins density interface features, delineate the hidden and semi-concealed rock and its spatial shapes, designate the tectonic units , and forecasted the mineralization for the region and defined the ore prospects. Through the above, I draw some consequence as following.(1)According to the characteristics of the gravity, by studying the gravitational field at a greater scope of background and comparing with the adjacent areas, the regional gravity field can be divided into different levels, which provides important basis to geological structure division.(2)In Bouguer gravity anomaly map and the residual gravity anomaly map, in accordance with anomaly intensity, shape, gradient, trends, scales and distribution characteristics…etc, with the geological and geophysical data,by tectonic maps of correspondence analysis,geological - geophysical model can be established . By means of: the basic geology principles, gravity survey results are interpreted and infered into the geological process or phenomena consistenting with the principle of geology, inferred geological interpretation of some geological findings in a larger scope of the geological background or comparison with adjacent areas and judged reasonable.
