In this dissertation, unidirectional transport of a two-order deterministic ratchet system is studied by both qualitative analysis and numerical simulation.Firstly, some of dynamical properties of the system have been exhibited, such as the Poincare map of the system has a one-dimensional global attractor, and the rotation number of the system exists and is independent of initial values when α>1+8π2V0. Next, unidirectional transport and resonance structures of the transport of the system are discussed by numerical simulation. We observe that the system not only exist unidirectional motion but also chaotic transport in a certain parametric region. Moreover, we find out that the resonance structure of the system is exactly regular and the same as that of a one-order ratchet system in the over-damped case. Finally, we briefly discuss the unidirectional transition from chaotic to regular transport in the system under two periodic drivers, and find that the chaotic transport can be regulated.
