Petroleum becomes the life line for country development with the short of energy becoming serious increasingly. Well logging, which can provide the dynamic parameters in the well that can offer scientific information, is being paid more attention by the oil industry. It is of more importance to improve the efficiency and reduce the cost by means of developing higher cost performance instruments applying the combined technology. On the basis of studying the congener apparatus of domestic and overseas, firstly two instruments of combined well logging have been developed combined with our apparatus situation in the paper. One is composed of electrode, microelectrode, caliper, orientation., which is also called the pulse coding modulation. It can accord with collateral measuring requirement and adopt the standard 3506 transmittal format which enables fifteen measuring output signals and realizes the multifunction of the cable .Of course, there is no interference between them. The other one is combined CBL apparatus. It enables the seven core cable for measuring the well to satisfy the need for the technology of combined well logging through magnetism by sound emission, using the technology of time seperation, frequency seperation, the technology of assembling and separating for signals between sound measuring and emission measuring and high integration technology of the apparatus circuit for the well. Logging This not only enhances the integration and intelligence, but also has high practical value. Secondly, the most importantly, the project is experimented in the local. The validity and practicality of the apparatus is proved by the experiment results. The two apparatuses pave the way for other combined instruments'design and application.
