With the development of nuclear power, uranium ore is needed more and more. Exploring Uranium deposit on earth surface has completed in most zones of our country, and the work has changed to explore concealed deposit.In this article, Soil thermoluminescence method is applied to find deep concealed deposit in Xiang Shan uranium ore. Soil thermoluminescence method is a kind of method of measuring accumulating radon and the measuring time is very long. According to the peculiarity of moving of radon, Soil thermoluminescence method can be used to find concealed uranium deposit effectively.Using GDR-3 thermoluminescence reader, I measured and analyzed the soil sample of 4 measuring lines in uranium mine zone according to this method. Then I charted and interpreted the thermoluminescence curve. I also evaluated some parameters in this experiment. The whole sample' amount is 210, and the amount of measuring samples is 538.Resulting from the interior experiment, I got these conclusions:(1) There is high value abnormal on the Xiang Shan uranium ore, which illustrate that the thermoluminescence abnormal on the mineral ore is large. The area of mineral ore is consistent with the area of abnormal. The contrast is evident, so the boundary is visible.(2) I confirmed 2 parameter which fit to Xiang Shan uranium ore thermoluminescence method: sample quality and calefactive speed, sample quality m=10mg, calefactive speedβ=6°C /s .(3) According to the experiment, thermoluminescence method can be applied to evaluate volcanic rock uranium ore effectively.
