AVO processing is to detect hydrocarbon by using amplitude information of seismic reflection.First, AVO forward modeling and analysis were carried out by using drilling data, then AVO processing of field seismic data were performed with optima processing flow chart and preserved amplitude processing technology, and finally favorable zones for exploration were delineated based on AVO processing results and comprehensive analysis of various seismic and geologic data.Ever since AVO concept being put forward, this method is added integrity constantly Practice a certificate, it is usually applied to reality. It has been confirmed that AVO anomaly has very important meaning in the aspects of detecting natural gas by seismic data, sandstone bearing natural gas has a lower Poisson's ratio than adjacent rock generally, thus cause AVO anomaly. Because Poisson's ratio descends obviously, AVO gradient is negative generally, so Poisson's ratio is a very important parameter to detect the hydrocarbons directly in AVO research, the variety of Poisson's ratio can also reflect the rock lithology of the formation, so it has important value in the hydrocarbon detection.Poisson's ratio inversion is studied based on the research of forward model in this paper AVO forward modeling makes use of the Shuey simplification form mainly. Firstly, double layer theoretical geology model is modeled, the reservoir parameter influence for AVO effect is analyzed. Then multi-layer theoretical geology model is analyzed. Finally, AVO inversion is carried on to the actual seismic data, again comparing with actual result.AVO inversion introduced by this paper can acquire Poisson's ratio section. The method is easy to operate, efficient in computation, can discover and track quickly lower Poisson's ratio anomaly that has something to do with sandstone containing the natural gas. It is very important in practical application.
