Using some software development tools, such as Visual C + +, PowerBuilder and the like, making full use of the advantages of MATLAB, XML, the author develops a virtual platform of plant growth. The platform includes topics management, document management, model management, data management module and virtual plant simulation module. Applying those modules, researchers can either conveniently manage the information relating to the research projects or directly observe the plants' growing process. What's more, the author develops a BP artificial neural network platform which is based on MATLAB. This BP artificial neural network platform can help researchers to process nonlinear data, to construct a more convenient scientific BP artificial neural network model to predict or control. The dissertation's using effective data test shows that the neural network platform is easy to operate, and the mathematical model from the platform is quite practical.According to the characteristics of cell signal transduction, the dissertation proposes a cell signal transduction computer network model with the use of computer communication technology which is similar to the internet. And the paper presents its own rules for the model's information coding. We instanced the possible cell signaling model of ABA actting on stomatal movement which Grill presented using the model. The author also uses WpdPack and VC++6.0 to make a program of data pack's encapsulation and transmission. The results of simulation show that: after being regularly coded and encapsulated, the cell signal can be transmitted in the well constructed network.Thirdly, based on the XML, a construction system of species and their attributes is developed in the essay under PowerBuilder9.0.. The system can help us to easily construct species attributes, and then it can well translate them. The opulus tomentosa Carr's study under this system in the essay shows us that: the system is easy to operate, flexible to construct the species and their attributes, convenient to read, practical and effective to be used. And it can not only fully describe the species and their attributes but also conveniently manage the attributes.
