Kalasu copper deposit is situated on the southern margin of the Altay Mountain copper metallogenetic belt,and has the large-scale mineralization potential porphyry Cu-Au bed. The ore deposit is located the Siberia tectonic plate and the Kazakhstan -Zungar tectonic plate joint spot, its north is the Siberia tectonic plate; its south is Kazakhstan—Zungar tectonic plate. In the region minerals distribution with locates the structural environment relations to be close. Be bonder with the big fault of Mayinerbe that direction was north of west, the part of the north east is located in the Halon-Qinghe mineralization belt that has many rare metal, white mica and gem; the part of the south west is located in the Kalatonke-Bergen Cu-Ni-Au-Fe mineralization belt; only the part of the south of west corner is located in the Solkuduk Cu-Mo-Au mineralization belt. The latter can divide two parts, one is located in Kalaxangeer-bergen Cu-Au mineralization belt, and the other is located in Xibedu-kalatonke Cu-Ni mineralization belt. The Kalasu Cu-deposit was located in the former. It is a big discover of the prospect recently years in the southern margin of the Altay Mountain. The bed is exploring.The southern margin of the Altay Mountain is a very important magma-structure metallogenic belt, in this mineralization belt had discovered has: The Sarsuker gold ore, Qaoxihala copper (iron) gold ore, Kalatonke copper nickel ore, the Kalaxangeer copper mine, Marelate gold ore, Kekesi gold ore, Serkuduk copper (molybdenum) ore deposits and so on. It is a copper, nickel, gold mineralization centralized areas. Its geologic position is extremely unique, the geologic structure is complex, the magma activity is frequent, the mineral resource is rich, is an important copper, precious metal mineralization belts.The deposit was located Kalatonke Paleozoic arc-shaped archipelago belt, the appearing stratum for the Middle Devonian Baitashan class, was a set by the basic -medium basic volcanic rock, the pyroclastic rocks and the volcano clastic sedimentary rocks. Based on these, the paper has researched the location prediction for concealed ore-bodies of the Kalasu porphyry Cu deposit, concluded the regularities of enrichment and pointed out geological synthetic exploring model.Through to the mining area geological data research, in the scene system geological investigation and the room analysis research work, this research obtains the following main geological understanding and the innovation achievement:1. Through the Kalasu copper deposit geological feature analysis, pointed out the ore deposit the formation and the porphyry body has the inseparable relations. The ore industry type is the porphyry copper mine and belongs to the low temperature hydrothermal deposit. The ore body is obviously control by the rock mass and the structure. The granite-porphyry, the andesite and the basalt are the ore body main ledge rock and the wall rock.2. The porphyry body's direction is the north of west and the appearing area is smaller than much 0.1 square kilometer. The mineralization porphyry only invades the Middle Devonian Baitashan class.3. The porphyry is the part of dive ocean melt shell and invaded the earth face's product, the structure background which the porphyry forms pulls for is the arc-shaped archipelago early time evolutionary process in part opens the stage and the porphyry formed temperature is 420-560°C.4.
