Today, we usually use some estimation technology in Reservoir Geology and Reservoil Characterization. The most important sdudy in this area is how to estimate the reservoil characterization of the unkown places based on the data we already have.No matter what method we use to estimate the data, we can creat a mathematic model by analysing of the data we got from experiment. Finaly, we can give out the map of the area by using some drawing technology.Analysis of trend surface technology is a kind of methmatic method that use mathematic bend surface to simulate the change trend of geology factors in 3D world.In fact ,it is based on the theory of Regression Analysis and use the method of least square to coincidence a founction of characterize the change trend of geology fators.Analysis of trend surface technology is usually used to simulate the rule of trend of resource, population, environment and economy. It has great value in estimationg in space. The trend surface is abstract surface in math.
