AVO Attribute Analysis

Based on studying of status of AVO technology and questions in AVO technology, AVO precise and approximate theories and AVO analysis petrophysics foundation are seriously described in this paper. The physics signification of each part in AVO approximate formula is amplified in detail in this paper. These works are the theoretic foundations of seismic data AVO processing and interpretation technology and AVO attribute analysis. And then I mainly discuss AVO analysis basic methods, I also study AVO inversion methods which are based on three kinds of forward analysis. Conventional AVO attribute inversion is introduced, at the same time, elastic impedance inversion and three-parameter AVO rock parameter inversion are also introduced, they are very potential in application. From the discussion of AVO analysis basic methods, I sum up the characteristics of AVO processing and interpretation technology. It is started with every aspect of seismic data processing and interpretation technology requirement. AVO seismic data processing technology emphasizes keeping amplitude processing and analyzing compensation attenuation amplitude method with offset from four different aspects. AVO seismic data interpretation technology includes AVO attribute and physics signification and AVO cross plot analysis and gas-containing sandstone classification which is popular now. Finally, the research methods in the paper are applied in Xujiaweizi area, based on the CRP gather and RMS velocity model through Kirchhoff time migration, AVO intercept, gradient, Poisson's ratio reflectivity, fluid factor, compression wave velocity reflectivity, shear wave velocity reflectivity attribute parameter sections are obtained with AVO weighted stack inversion methods. AVO anomaly is detected by using cross plot analysis and AVO characteristic curve analysis technology. AVO anomaly is used to detect oil and gas.AVO anomaly result in this paper is very significant. It is a very important reference point in finding oil and gas in xujiaweizi area.
