Its basic datais constructed by spatial data and attribute data of Changchun Cityeco-geochemical research.By selecting appropriate means of constructingdatabase the City-GIS has managed geo-environment information in pointincluded air environment data and soil environment data. some especialfunctions that users demand but GIS doesn't possess are accomplished bywriting specific code in VB. Then a powerfully comprehensive function isrealizedafterintegratingtheabovetwo.the system's development absorbed the idea of prototyping, prototypingis"Rapid Prototyping Methodology"for short, the prototype system can runan early version, which reflects the final part of the important functions and features.
