Aiming at the blankness of implication for provenance that is the implication of basin for several provenances, taking the south of Kong Dian in Huang Hua depression basin during Kong one and Kong two paragraphs as an example, above the high frequency sequence stratigraphy, three sequences and nine system tracts are identified. There are divided seven middle period base level cycloes in Kong one paragraphy and three middle period base level cycloes in Kong two paragraphy.There are divided three sequences as units,which it studies partingly. Main of applied research methodes in this original are heavy and light mineral, layer rock's construction, seismic reflection composition and gravitational force data which define provenance in every sequence. Research methods for heavy mineral are cluster analysis and discriminatory analysis. Research method for light mineral is columnar section. Cluster analysis: by means of close or distant relationship of heavy mineral distinguish different group for identifying different form of native rock. Above the space, clastic fragments from one provenance have the same or similar specimen feature. The other way, according to the same or similar specimen feature in vertical or space, it can distinguish provenance area. Discriminatory analysis: it extract characteristic parameter which reflex data of heavy mineal, is established data of heavy mineral by BAYES stepwise discriminant analysis. According to data of heavy mineral, it can identify provenance attach of adiagnostic oil well. Dickinson graphical method is the proof divided different provenance area. Detrital material of terrigenous origin from different area in every sequence can be throw in Dickinson triangular diagram. Forest reflection constitution is applicable in seismic reflection constitution for the original. Forest reflection constitution is one of common reflection constitution in seismic cross section, the result of lake basin filled up with directional water course and instructed orientation of water course and deposit provide. According to ratio map from conglomerate, sandstone, siltstone and mudstone, it can deduce the origin of sediment. Brecciate and conglomerate is valuable to analysis proximal realm particularly, and they provide data of rock specimen completely. But sandstone can't. Proving through investigation the charge from size, component and percent of conglomerate, is fundamental measure and the most illustrative manner whose define nature of country rock and provenance orientation.In summary, it is certain that: during sequenceâ… period, there are Wang Hai si and Xiao Ji provenance systems in the east of region of interest, Xue Guan tun, Cang Dong and Wu Ma ying provenance systems in the west of region of interest. During sequenceâ…¡period, there are Wang Hai si, Wu Ma ying, Xue Guan tun and She Nv si provenance systems. During sequenceâ…¢period, there are Cang Dong, She Nv si, Dong Guan, Wu Ma ying and Jun Ma dian provenance systems.Palaeogeographic stage divide three evolutionary phases which are depression, fault sag and fault depression, with main of developing closed basin. There are three developing sequence particular period and the opposite evolutionary phases.Configuration of basin is dropoff. It contrast reduction with configuration of peripheral region. Main body of basin is lake, and sediment provide basin system though river, which is main of cross channel. It developed delta depositional system and subsea apron depositional system. During low water level period, there was developing abyss-half abyss in the middle part. Around there, there was a largely width inshore lake border facie and delta facie in the middle of region of interest. In this period, it was humid climate.The difference in structure and palaeogeo graphical evolvement between period 1 and period 2 was mainly arid climate. Evaporation capacity was larger than delivery volume. Water precipitation facie which can't being in long time is mainly of river and seasonal lake.This period is the early stage of fault depression for developing of rift valley, from structural evolution in long-term or the history of structural evolution in the whole Huang Hua depression. Region of interest was in the condition of whole subside, but subside scope was major in the area where were controlled by Cang Dong, Xue Xi, Kong Dong and Kong Xi fault.Finally, provenance analysis is the important territory that rebuilding basin sense of palaeogeo graphical environment, forecasting sand body and studying formation lithology reservoir. The original has the important sense ofdirection and practice.
