The Designation And Application Of City Grid-Coordinate Digital Map(CGCDM) Based On Geographical Information Systems(GIS)

In the last century, human society had greatly developed from industry times, which depended on nature sources, to information times, which relayed on information technology, because of quick development of computer technology. With information technology develop further, the more and more persons begin to use, or are touch with Management Information System (MIS). For instance, Geographic Information System (GIS) is one kind of these MIS.GIS had been and developed for thirty years, but it has been developing, relayed on some factors, such as user's requirement, progress of technology, increasing of application systems. To excite, the digital city was just based on GIS. The research of the digital city has become a hot point of GIS now. But research relation with the digital city in China is obviously less than other countries. According to research and application states of GIS, application of the digital city at present in China, the thesis gives a design conceive about City Grid-Coordinate Digital Map (CGCDM), in order to solve some problems on management of house numbers in city. Under the control of Geographical Space DataBase, refering to CGCDM as a reference, on the service stage of Geographical Information Card, on the interactive platform of sound, note, network and broadcast, CGCDM help government manage conveniently, digitally house numbers in city, it also decreases government's economic burdens. If the design, development and application of this system can bring a little enlightenment to government, it will make overjoyed.
