Real Time Kinematical Global Positioning System (RTK GPS) carrier phase relative position is widely used in the international for its ability of high precision. The carrier phase relative position system which uses the NAVCOMR nct-2100 as the receiver is discussed in this paper, and some key problems of this system is researched by the analysis and the design of the whole system. The principle of the GPS carrier phase measurement positioning is introduced in the paper firstly and the mathematic models is discussed. Then, the signal structure of the NAVCOMR nct-2100 receiver is analyzed, the collection and the dispose of the data is realized by the binary system. The problems of the carrier phase cycle slip in the kinematical condition are researched in both the principle and the project aspects. The derivation of the carrier signal integer ambiguity is analyzed at last. The float ambiguity searched by Kalman filter and integer ambiguity resolution based on LAMBDA transformation is afforded. A lot of tests are taken on the base of the algorithm in the paper, and the algorithm is proved to be possible to calculate the ambiguity quickly and correctly, and to improve the precision. At last of the paper, the whole research is summarized and the research aspects are pointed.
