As photoelectron technique has been used widely in emerging high-technique field in the latest decades, kinds of magneto-optical devices appeared unique characteristics and very broad application prospects based on the magneto-optical effect. While application range of the magneto-optical effect is being broadening, the magneto-optical effect has been used in many field ranged from atom to celestial body now. Kinds of magneto-optical devices have also been made and researches on the magneto-optical effect boom than agone. However study on magnetic field imaging is very limited and there have been few report on geomagnetic field imaging based on the magneto-optical effect by now.By proper optical path system and algorithm this thesis manage to obtain two-dimensional image of the simulated magnetic field on basis of the magneto-optical effect and the geomagnetic field imaging method put forward by our topic group. The purpose of this experiment is to validate the method of magnetic imaging by optical means and to lay some foundation for three-dimensional tomography. This thesis introduce the principle of the geomagnetic field imaging method at first, then present optical path system and analyze the feasibility and problem of optical path system .While present experiment process, the procedure and the algorithm of recovering magnetic field image are emphasized. Then get high definition image of two-dimensional magnetic field distribution by the gathered data. Analyze the result of experiment by comparing the distribution of magnetic field shown by the gotten image to simulate magnetic field, then make sure that magnetic field image reflect magnetic field intensity well. Design a method for magnetic field imaging with frequency multiplication, and affirm it's high measurement accuracy in comparison to the before-mentioned method's by a particular analysis and compare between two methods.
