The phase of wave function in quantum has been a problem in recent research,from the research of dynamica l phase to the investigation of berry phase, the phasein quantum mecha nics has attracted extensive attention. Since Berry first introducedthe concept of geometric phase in quantum mecha nics in 1984 at Bristol university,this discovery has prompted a myriad of activities in various areas of physics. Beforethe work of Berry, people have realized the existence of this phase, however,because of the less knowled ge about the monotonic of wave function, the physica leffect of phase was neglected by most people. In the past severa l years, thescholars in and aborad make great efforts to solve the complicated Hamiltonia n, inorder to gain the Berry phase in those Hamiltonia ns, and the condition of adiabatichas been genera lized to non-adiabatic evolution.The theory of Berry phase has became an concernful subject in the applica tionin mesoscoplc system, whose dimension is between the classica l macro system andthe microcosm . From the aspect of basic theoretica l study, the research of mesoscoplcphysics can be seen as a med ia appoach to study the macro system. In this paper, weintroduce the discovery of Berry phase and its applica tion in the past decade,furthermore, we make some forecast about the applica tion of Berry phase inmesoscoplc system.
