In this article, the author summarizes ore-forming geological background and the geological characteristics of the Arhada large-scale Pb-Zn-Ag deposit, and then deeply discusses the deposit genesis. The deposit gets a good development in the shallow sea faces volcanic sedimentary strata in Angerinwula-group of Devonian up series. The mineralization is controlled not only byλ- type structure of thrust fault on NEE trending and fracture structure zone on NWW- NNW trend, but also by the composite granitic lithosome of crust-mantle genesis in Indosinian-Yanshanian period.According tested the isotope S-Pb of ore and studied the characteristics ofmicroelement, and then the view that the resource of the ore is upper mantleand crust is proposed. Based on the above, the author thinks Arhada Pb-Zn-Ag deposit is mid-high temperature hydrothermal vein-type deposit of the structure-magmatism genesis in yanshanian period. Finally, the author concludes the ore-forming mechanism, ore-forming model, the indictor, and then makes a prediction. Applying these, the author puts forward several ore-finding areas and sub-finding areas.This article's main task includes:1,Briefly introducing the deposit of the geological background in regional structure, strata, structure, and magmatite and so on. Mineralization controlling fault structure characteristics and the origin of the mining-area granite body are studied emphatically according to the region magmatic rock origin. Then geological deposit characteristics from the ore, ore body, country rock alteration, etc are introduced. Through statistical method ore bodies characteristics are studied. Ore characteristics are researched by mineralography and other test methods.2,Summarizes the ore-belt characteristics of geology, geophysics, and geochemistry. The Geophysics characteristics are abnormal high - charging-rate and high-Polarizability. The geochemistry characteristic is the abnormal multi element combination of Cu-Pb-Zn.3. Partly discusses volcano-sedimentary strata in Devonian, theλtype fracture structure and the composite lithesome in Indosinian-Yanshanian. The structure-magmatism mineralization controls is Emphasized. Then the ore-forming rules are concluded.4,Studies the feature of the ore body belt. Then according to the Pb/Zn rate, the movement direction of the ore-forming hydrothermalism, which is fromlow-NWW to upper-SEE, is deduced and the theory basis is provided topredict in mining area.5. Discusses the deposit genesis. Applying isotope S-Pb characteristics of ore, and then the resource of the ore-forming material being crust-mantle mixture is proposed. The mineralization is studied from mineralization stage,mineralization way,temperature pressure condition ,etc. The ore-forming genesis is hydrothermal mineralization.6. Summarizes the indictor. An ore-forming prediction is made according to information of geology, geophysics, and geochemistry.
