Research On The Modeling Of Language Based On Fuzzy Set Theory

Fuzzy sets have been around for nearly 40 years and have found many applications, whichgreatly improved people's cognition of the fuzzy world. However, as they suffer from certainproblems while Wing to depict things in great complexity. Zadeh extended the fuzzy set basedon the classical one, so came out the type-2 fuzzy set while the traditional one so called type-1fuzzy set. One of the pivots of this paper is the discussions about the basic conception,terminology and computing character of type-2 fuzzy set based on type-1 one, and in somedegree, we extents the type-2 fuzzy set in the aspects of conception and qualitative, and so on,and also give a new analysis from a different stage with testification.One of the most important embranchment of fuzzy set is the research of fuzzy logic system.However people gradually find that conventional mathematical models present seriouslimitations to manipulate these kinds of logical uncertainties that arise due to human thinking,perception, vague concepts, unreliable measurements, and lexical imprecision. For example, onecould be looking for buying a house and he/she might have various criteria or constraints suchthat the price, the distance from his/her work place, and the structure of the house and so on.However, it is difficult to apply a conventional mathematical model. So the type-2 fuzzy logicsystem develops little by little. In this thesis we give a comparison of the type-1 and type-2 fuzzylogic system in different parts, so we can get a conclusion that the type-2 FLS gives a betterperformance than the type-1 one. Another important application of fuzzy set is the research oflanguage model, which is always a discussion problem after the coming out of fuzzy set. Thetraditional fuzzy set exists great deficiency in the espression of natural language, but the type-2fuzzy set can remedy the imperfect in great extent, so compare to the type-1 fuzzy set the type-2one has a better superiority and development space. In this paper we give a discussion of themodeling of type-2 fuzzy set, and we found a simple logic system based on the type-1 and type-2fuzzy set. On all of work done above we probe into the problems of language model on the basisof FLS in an elementary step.
