It's one important goal of reservoir prediction to identify the fluid content in the stratum using seismic data, and by the factor of fluid identification. With the oil and gas accumulation researched by exploration becoming more complicate, it's difficult to identify the fluid content, only by several or single message. So, we all hope that the information reflecting reservoir fluid is extracted from the real seismic data more and more. It's an effective way to identify fluid body by using the comprehensive utilization of seismic p-wave, s-wave and c-wave. Recently, fluid identification is researched deeply on the base of p-wave and s-wave, and the ways of LMR to reflect fluid anomaly, Russell to identify fluid and wave impedance difference to work out Direct Hydrogen Instruction (DHI). These methods all produce a certain extent of application effect, but lack the system analysis for the feature and application condition of fluid identification factor. So, it's difficult to choose the fight fluid predication factor in the practice, accurately.Based on the above acknowledgment, people have analyzed, classified and summarized for the above fluid identification factor, and put forward the common form of the fluid identification factor function. This function is based on the p-wave and s-wave impedance, and can be made a more sensitive fluid identification factor according as the different need.Commonly, the key about this problem is that it's difficult to gain the p-wave and s-wave impedance information at the same time. So, people have brought forward academic approximate formula, empirical formula, combining with academic approximation and empirical formula, and AVO analysis to obtain the s-wave information from p-wave data. AVO analysis bases the rock physics, goes on the prccisc and systemic math formula and has a certain anti-noise in some special processing at the same time. So this paper mostly makes use of AVO analysis to get s-wave message from p-wave message, looses the dependence of multi-wave information for fluid identification factor, and compares with the fluid identification effect combining with the factors, finally, advances a method of "fluid predication based on the p-wave data".
