Speckle interferometric technology have many advantage, such as, non-contact, high accuracy and whole field, etc, been paid attention to by people all the time, is especially applied to surface measurement in a large amount. Electronic technology,computer technology development,laser of technology promoted speckle measure technology development, let speckle measure technology develop along the path that is real-time, high speed automatic.In Practice, deformation field measurement is of importance and is used far and widely. Electronic speckle pattern interferometry (ESPI), which uses fringe analysis for nondestructive deformation field measurements, has become an important technique in the recent 20 years. Many ripe phase measurement techniques have been applied in fringe analysis in ESPI, of which temporal phase method (TPM) and spatial phase method (SPM) are the main sorts. Actually, measure environment or setting is instable, thus dynamic measurement is of high value.In this dissertation, the theory and method of electronic speckle pattern interferometry is detailedly discussed. The main contents are described as the following:1. The origin, producing method and correlative concept is introduced. A review of development of speckle metrology is presented.2. Statistic characteristic of optical coarseness surface is introduced. The theory of electronic speckle pattern interferometry is presented. The deformation fringe is obtained after the speckle map before deforming subtracting that after deforming. Statistic characteristic of speckle subtracting is discussed. 3. The method of some phase measurement and the theory of three-dimensional spatial phase shifting electronic speckle pattern interferometry is discussed. Programming soft system for three-dimensional carrier electronic speckle pattern interferometry system. Experimenting on diesel engine model using the measurement system, fine result is obtained. To table a proposal of the technique of single beam of light check for practical symmetrical deformation, and make experiment to validate.
