As the economy and society are developing fast, people are becoming more and moreconcerned about the circumstance on which they live. The impact of the waste liquid comingfrom the nuclear power stations on the circumstance around is one issue that people are mostlyconcerned of. Now in Guangdong procince, besides the running nuclear power stations ofGNPS and LNPS, new ones including Yangjiang station will be built soon. To know deeply theimpact of the waste liquid coming from these stations on the circumstance around now becamemore imminence to Guangdong while the unclear power will be developing fast. This paper emphasizes on the simulatation of the tide wave, and the dispersion of wasteliquid along with it. The ADI model have got successful result in correlative two dimensionresearch, and the elementary attempt are done in three dimension by using it. The attempts tosimulate the tide wave by using spectral method have ever been done, but the results are notsatisfying enough. This paper simulated the tide wave nearby Daya bay by using pseudospectral method.Chebyshev polynomials were choosen as cardinal vectors, then the theoretic model ofpseudospectral method to solute the two dimension tide-wave equations was obtained. Thecomputational programme was developed by using Fortran language. Take the wave in onesquare pond caused by a tiny water column as an example, the feasibility of the model andprogramme is testified. According to this, the tide wave nearby Daya bay was simulated. Bycomparing with the measured values and the ones got by ADI model, the reasonability of theresults and the applicability of the spectral method were indicated. After the tide field was got by the spectral method, the dispersion of the pollutant particlesalong with the tide wave were simulated by using random walk model, and the elementaryresults of the pollutant dispersion were got.In the end of the paper, the analyses to the model and the results were made. The dispersionresult of the liquid that coming from the nuclear power station was got. This result can providethe referrence information for to know the impact of the nuclear power stations on thecircumstance. Based on the work, the futher research was adviced.
