Applicational Researches Of Polyepoxysuccinic Acid To Reverse Osmosis System

It is studied the synthesizing and purifying method of polyepoxysuccinic acid (PESA); made structure token by Infrared Spectrophotometer(ID); measured four physical performance of PESA by static scale inhibition experiment. The effect of quality ratio, dosage, calcium concentration and combinations of PESA kinds on the calcium carbonate is studied with the method of orthogonal test. Researched application of PESA to seawater desalting and dvanced treatment of tap water with the reverse osmosis system, compared with abroad scale inhibitors and domestic scale inhibitors. To evaluate scale inhibition of PESA by self method.Maleic anhydride as raw material, sodium tungstate as catalyst, hydrogen peroxide as oxidation agent, sodium hydroxide as initiator, are applied in the synthesis of PESA though solution polymerizing. Utilized the characteristic which PESA doesn't dissolved in acidification methyl alcohol of pH=2.5, purifying PESA. It is made structure token by ID to prove the purification offspring is PESA. Obtained the molecular weight with viscosimeter of PESA which is 780-900; pH of liquid PESA is 10-12, pH of purified PESA is 3-5; density is 1.31±0.05g/cm~3.Researched five scale inhibition properties of self-PESA, result is showed that molecules of self-PESA do not conglutinate when high concentration of calcium.The orthogonal test is showed combinations of PESA kinds affect scale inhibition strongly, combinations of PESA and HEDP is best.It is researched that application of PESA to seawater desalting and dvanced treatment of tap water with the reverse osmosis system, result is that iron affects scale inhibition of calcium carbonate.Crystal structure is investigated by the method of SEM, result is the structure of crystal is aberranced with scale inhibitor.The experiment of dynamic method is showed that the scale inhibition of PESA to calcium carbonate is good.
