Petroleum Enrichment In Wenxi Fault Belt

Wenxi fault belt, located in the west of Wennan oilfield, central uplift of Dongpu sag, is one of the favorable target areas of increasing producing reserves in the outskirt of Wennan oilfield. But duo to the effect of Wenxi fault system, Liangzhuang fault system and Wendong fault system, the structure is so complicated and horizontal variation of reserveoir is so great that geological laws can not be realized clearly. In addition, the low quality of the seismic adds to the difficulty of evaluation. According to the data of geology, seismic, well logging, experiments, well testing and producing test and on the basis of fine correlation of formation, fine structural characteristics and the effects of fault activities on the oil & gas migration, distribution of reservoirs and laws of pool forming are studied by the methods of 3-D seismic interpretation, prediction of reservoirs, stratigraphic sequence, sedimentary analysis and fault sealing analysis. At the end of the research, the favorable targets of rolling exploration in this area is predicted and staged harvest has been made.
