The simulation and analysis of electromagnetism is the main means of management ofelectromagnetism, also is the important part of the electronic warfare in the operation command systemof military. So the research of this paper is of profound theoretical and practical significance. Thewhole country's area and its neighbouring are chose as study area directed to the application of theanalysis of electromagnetism, and jobs be done as following:1,Realized the integration of Two-dimention (2D) and Three-dimension (3D) GIS in the same systembased on COM specification.2,Established the main framework of the wide area of visual geographical environments and thepyramid system of the whole country which can help to the storage and dispatch of the mass data.Build the pyramid of terrain topography based on the integration of RSG and TIN model, and thetexture model based on the creation and compression technology of Mipmap.3,Developed a new method of automated remote sensing(RS) image matching and registration basedon predecessors research. Improved several key step of it and proved it by much work of experiment.At last, applied this method to the data procession of 3D visual geographical environments.4,Several provinces and city RS data from low resolution to high resolution is processed and put intothe tile and hierarchy system.5,Used the IDL language to compute the complex visual calculation and render the volume data. Anew method is researched to combine the 1DL and other developing languages based on the COMspecification to solve the complex problem.The simulation and analysis system of electromagnetism is an example of integrated application whichcombines the geographical information system,RS and visualization technology. As the developmentof these technology, particularly the RS technology, this integrated application pattern must bepromoted to many other areas.
