Research And Preparation Of 1540nm Band-Pass Filter

Bandpass filter is a film component used widely. It is applied in: chronometer, space exploration, laser detection, optical fiber communication ,etc. The paper briefly introduced the application of the bandpass filter, and elaborated the coating principle both in thin film theory and thin film design theory. Specified to the wavelength of 1540nm, design and optimized the film, choose the suitable coating materials, and prepared by the Integrity-36 full automatic vacuum coating machine, with the electron beam and the ion assistance system. We tested the spectrum characteristic with UV3100PC spectrophotometer. The methods of improving bandpass ripple the threshold were studied through both design and preparation. And showed the ultimate design curves and the measured curves.
