Photoelectric scouting system will accomplish many kinds of tasks in battlefield which including detection, recognition, tracking, measuring and so on. The capabilities of photoelectric system of weapons are related to atmosphere transmission and the characteristics of environments and targets. Researching optical characteristics of targets, its backgrounds and atmosphere is significant for assessing property of weapons. A lot of researches have been carried out in this field at home and abroad so as to develop fire control equipment for various weapons; infrared radiation characteristic test for environment and typical targets is an important basis for weapon system theoretical modeling and system design.The measurements for spectrum radiation characteristic and temperature distribute of blackbody based on MR304 spetroradiometer are discussed. Spectrum radiation curves of target and measurement data are shown in paper. According to the parameters of measurement distance and atmosphere environments, we calculate apparent measurements of target radiation into true value.
