This thesis research on the stability of loess landslide takes Tashan loess landslide for example on the basis of the geological disasters detailed investigation in Qianyang county , Baoji, Shanxi. First of all, it makes current situation about loess landslide at domestic and international and the analysis of geo-environments at research region a precondition, and through the detailed investigation on Tashan loess landslide and drilling, reveals the space distribute, basic characteristic, main impact factor and formation mechanism of Tashan loess landslide. The result of investigation indicates: the special loess provides material foundation for the formation of Tashan loess landslide; Slope relief, consequent slope structure, loess joints and so on provides boundary conditions for the Tashan loess landslide; Mankind's activities and precipitation and so on are the predominance induction factors. Various factors are complement each other to lead to the development and take place of Tashan loess landslide. Then ,this thesis makes use of the sarma and transfer coefficient methods calculate the safety factor to aim at three profile of landslides respectively, the Ta Shan landslides be placed in a stability appearance as a whole according to the calculation result; This thesis makes use of FLAC software to the landslides carry on simulation analysis in the meantime, built up geology model and mechanics model and pass to the analysis of soil body stress and safety factor calculation of landslides. It can be know that Ta Shan landslides be placed in a stability state as a whole ,but instability in part(the left side of advancing edge) of landslides according to the investigation result basically. Finally, I have to analyze various factors of landslides region, the geology, hydrology and human activities etc. for example, and to put forward reasonable prevention and cure suggestion according to actual circumstances.
