The deadline for the end of 2005, natural gas reserves of 76.636 billion cubic meters has been found in Shan2 submember. With the in-depth exploration and development, the development of natural gas in the area at the same time, there are seven wells that produce 5-40 cubic meters water everyday in the area. It has seriously affected the region's development effectiveness and the development process, especially brings great risk in the deployment of development wells.Object to this key-point, log date is used as basic method to research the log response characteristic of water yield formation. Chemical characteristics of formation water are used to find the cause of formation water. The distribution discipline of water and gas is also analyzed in this paper. At last following conclusions are got.1, Various reservoir types appear interleaving in the inversion section and plane, then sand body is aeolotropic. Sand body connectivity is affected. Irreducible water saturation is an average of 27 percent, gas saturation is an average of 73 percent in Shan2~3.2, Shan2 formation water in Yulin South comprises a lot of calcium chloride, it's thickness is very high, it's characteristic is long water sedimentary rocks, deep cycle, the turn of stagnation or slow runoff, in-depth enrichment. There is a hydrogeochemical environment in Shan2 reservoir that is good saved, closed, restored.3, South of Yulin is the main gas production place, gas thickness is large, gas distribution is stable, the impact of different types of s, the gas well production capacity is different because of the reservoir differences . The gas water boundary and the gas water transition zone are in lower position. Altitude is about -1785 meters.4, When sand thickness is above 4.5 meters, natural gas may get out from sand. Why the distribution of Shan2 natural gas reservoir is complex is the bad pore structure, big capillary pressure resistance, a row of small gas column height, low reservoir driving force. Reservoir characteristics not only is the main manipulative factors of Shan2~3 gas well production, but also decide the effects.5, Fine and close reservoir and poor sand body connectivity are the result of the gas and water "inversion" phenomenon that is the illusion. Energy-gas of accumulation can not drive the pore water out sandstone hole in the process of gas migration.
