Studying on the propagation property of laser beams passing through all kinds of optical systems is widely focused at all times.And the related optical systems include the first-order systems without the apertures and the complex systems with apertures.And the beams of those subjects include coherent beams,none coherent beams and partially coherent beams.The subject of this paper is the propagation property of partially coherent beams passing through the complex optical systems.Generally speaking,the output beams of the laser are partially coherent beams,so we always use partially coherent beams instead of laser beams most times to describe the beams emited by the laser cavity.Because of the limiting of the mode of laser oscillations,spatial filtering spatial shaping and etc,it is needed that a lot of hard-edged apertures in the optical systems.The typical methods to deal with the apertures are:direct numerical integration,recurrence formula methods,complex Gaussian function expansion,matrix method,beam mode expansion and etc,the aims of all want to improve the effect of the numerical calculation.But it is limited for the complex optical systems with many hard-edge apertures.The way in this paper is transfer the effect of the apertures in the complex optical system to the effect of the exit pupil of this optical system.It transfers the diffraction integral calculations of the apertures into that of exit pupil.The main jobs in this paper are:From the diffraction laws of optical system,we transfer the effect of many apertures into that of the exit pupil—the equivalent transition methods, The generally diffraction integral expression of the coherent beams and partially coherent beams is obtained.Obtaine the propagation analytical expression of the Gaussian beams and Hermite-Gaussian beams passing through the complex optical system, describe particularly the effect of the parameters of the complex optical system on the intensity distribution on the observation surface of the complex optical system through the numerical simulation.Derive the propagation analytical expression of the partially coherent Gaussian-Schell model passing through the complex optical system. Describe particularly the effect of the parameters of the complex optical system on the intensity distribution on the observation surface of the complex optical system through the numerical simulation.
