This thesis has five parts, including the preface, the basic theory of quantum information, the history of quantum information and the enlightenment from the research about the history of quantum information and conclusion.In the preface the author introduces the meaning of study about the history of quantum information, the present development of domestic and international study, and the method of this thesis takes which is called contextual analysis introduced by historians of science and technology.In chapterâ… , the basic quantum information theory, the author introduces the definition of quantum information, and analyzes the purposes of the study of quantum information and finds that quantum information research is not only the result of independent development of science , but also inevitably involves the country's will and political purpose in the course of its development. To facilitate the following discussion, the author introduces the quantum computing, quantum communication and quantum cryptography system.In chapterâ…¡, history of quantum information, the author points out that quantum information is the inevitable outcome of the scientific development in the certain period by analyzing the general historical background of quantum information. And analyzes the transition from classical to the quantum, including the transition from classical computer to the quantum computer, the transition from the classical communication to the quantum communication, from the classical cryptography to the quantum cryptography. It gives an answer to the question from Bennett who is the founder of quantum information. He asked, the principles and theories of quantum mechanics was widely accepted and has become the basis of physics in the 1930s, why does the quantum information theory occur at the end of the 20th century and at the beginning of the 21st century? On the above analysis, the author points out that quantum computing, quantum communication and quantum cryptography system are not only independent but also indivisible as a whole. In the course of development, they have common origins of thought, face the same development dilemma and social influence. For example, EPR experiment is their common origins of thought, de-coherence surrounding is the same development dilemma, policy interference is the social mechanism what they face. The author makes an arrangement for development process of quantum information, divides it into five periods as budding season, development period, maturity, present development and future development trend according to the significant achievements of scientific research of the quantum information.In chapterâ…¢, enlightenment from the development of quantum information, the author finds some enlightenment from the history of quantum information. Also points out that the development of science is constant differentiation and integration of itself. With development and maturity of various disciplines, the main trend and grow point of science will be interdisciplinary and permeatment and absorbement of methords in 21st century. Nowadays, the government's policies play an important role on scientific development. In the future, it needs more and more international cooperation and communication. Currently, the major obstacle that science development has encountered is that the discipline theories differentiate increasingly sophisticated, and integrated talents are too scarce and so on.In conclusion, the author points out interdisciplinary is not only the development basis of new discipline, but also it will give new evidence to confirm or deny the original theory. There is wide space in the development of quantum information which will be an important high new technology that makes science of information develop from classical to quantum era.
