Research On Application Of GIS In Jinan Agricultural Informatization

Geographic Information System is also named Geoscience Information System or Resource and Environment Information System. It is one kind of special and important space information system. Supported by computer hardware system and software system, it is a technological system gathering, storing, and managing, calculating, analyzing, displaying and describing concerned data of geographic distribution in the whole or part of earth surface layer (including aerosphere). The object processed and managed by Geographic Information System is many kinds of geographic space data and their relations, including space orientation data, graph data, remote sensing graph data and attribute data, etc. It is used to analyze and deal with all kinds of phenomena and processes in order to solve complicated problems of preplanning, decision-making and managing. Geographic Information System is a new arisen technology used to store, manage and analyze space information in the information age. At present, every walk of life is trying to use this technology to improve traditional application ability.China is a country with a large population and limited plantation, only occupying 7% of plantation in the whole world but needing to support 20% of population of the whole world. So its agricultural development is very important in the whole national economy development. The purpose of this article is to discuss how to use Geographic Information System in agriculture in order to improve agricultural informatization and hasten agricultural information modernization, which is very important. Presently, the application of this technology is still very limited. How to use Geographic Information System to serve agriculture is still a question for discuss. Present agricultural information still depends on traditional ways to gather information. Many problems such as big data error, difficult searches, terrible visualizability and behindhand data analysis still exist because of blocked way to gather information, laggard means and indirect information issuance. Now the application of agricultural informatization still limits to simple data gathering and issuance with little data analysis. So it is difficult to have exact understanding of the whole agriculture and also it is difficult for the decision-making departments to master exact and reliable information so as to make scientific decisions. Aiming at all these problems, this article uses GIS in agricultural informatization to set up GIS system of Jinan agricultural informatization. It improves exactness, completeness and usability of agricultural resource data by using GIS models and using WEBGIS to issue information, analyze agricultural data and count agricultural resources. The ability to reasonably deal with data is improved by using ARACLE10G database to reach netting data management.Firstly, this article discusses theoretical basis of GIS and applications of its discussion, statistics, analysis and inquiry in land resource, forest resource and water resource.
