| Since 1934, Gao Zhenxi, the geologists, found this geological section and named in Middle-Upper Proterozoic geological section of Ji'Xian in 1982. Scholars at home and abroad are foucsing this section on the following areas: sequence stratigraphy, biostratum, Chronolithologic factor and so on. But the detailed study of Neoproterozoic Tieling Formation is rare. Through the study of glauconite's mineralogical characteristics and outcrop characteristics in the stromatolite limestone rocks of third group of Tieling, this thesis research the initial cause of glauconite and its geological significance, and also may help to understand Tieling Group's ancient marine environment.Sequence stratigraphy theory think that glauconite is a low-speed authigene mineral on behalf of the intermittent slow deposition, and it has also been considered as marine facies'mark. Therefore, glauconite is often called the authigene mineral marking condensed layer. But Jixian's glauconite may indicate a special submarine cementation, and its unique outputting represents that high-energy shallow sea in Precambrian is a oxygen shortage environment. In this paper, we use electron microprobe methods and quantitative analysis of microscopic identification to research the glauconite's morphology, distribution, ultra-structure characteristics, and also to understand the grow environment of glauconite. And the relative concentration of those glauconite outputs is represented high maturity characteristics. This isn't matched with modern glauconite with high mature mainly formed in the "slow, weak reduction and deep-water environment". Referring to its outputs'characteristics, it illustrates that the glauconite with a high maturity, in the stromatolite limestone of Tieling group, is growing in neither a "slow accumulation role of the environment" nor a "the deposition intermittent of geological significance", and also not a "condensed section "and the mark of the related sedimentation. |
