Tibetan Buddhism which rooted in snow region plateau have its special religious ideological system by thousand years development and evolution. All kinds of religious belief culture which from the central doctrine in Tibetan Buddhism based on animism and leniency contains the abundant ecological idea. The Tibetan of Yalong River watershed in Tibet southwest was selected as study object, the religious belief culture character which includes their multi-religion, taboos, life and death concepts etc were analyzed by using ecological basal rules, method and skills, and the idea of population stable multiply and survival in the Tibetan religious belief culture were studied combined with ecological theory including population energy obtaining, survival environment protection, propagation and regulation and life-history etc.The importance of environmental protection between human being and nature was put forward from Tibetan religious belief culture. The results are as follows.(1)The character of multi-religion in Tibetan religious belief culture has direct relation with the farming and food, ethnic group energy complement, input and output of energy and matter etc. One sort of ecological factor or a method was controlled and charged by their adoring one spirit or multi-spirits, such as sun-god, water-spirit, gnome, mountain-god, cattle-god, goat-god, tree-god, etc.(2)The religious taboos idea of Tibetan religious belief culture has direct relation with their ethnic group survival environmental protection which includes the protection to bio-environment as plants and animals and abiotic environment as mountain and water system. The case to bio-environment protection includes no-killing, free captive animals, vegetarian eating, no-touching spirit follower and trees, the another protection are no-digging to holy hill, no-pollution to spirit water.(3)The unique idea of life and death in Tibetan religious belief culture was ultimate embodied with utilitarian goals which including ethnic group quantity increasing and the survival ability. A case is that devoted degree was embodied with paying more attention to the increase of pregnant rate, birthrate and survival ratio, and mortality reducing.(4)The unique idea of send-off son becoming a monk in Tibetan religious belief culture has closed contact with the quantity control of ethnic group.
