Resistivity imaging surveys have not only been carried out in space, but also in time! In some studies, the change of the subsurface resistivity with time has important applications. Such studies include the flow of water through the vadose (unsaturated) zone, changes in the water table due to water extraction, coasts of the slope, flow of chemical pollutants and leakage from dams. To prevent the delay of a constantly changing purpose of the exploration of large-scale regional geological environment issues break out along with time, advanced the theory of electrical imaging time-delay surveys.Through study the model of electrical imaging time-delay surveys, this paper points out the method of theory and practice of road. Combining the practical application of the state science and technology key projects, it offsets the domestic blank and lack of foreign. Conducting a detailed study and verification about the flow of water through the vadose (unsaturated) zone, changes in the water table due to water extraction, coasts of the slope, flow of chemical pollutants and leakage from dams, achieved the domestic advanced level. To prevent large-scale regional geological environment issues, provides the methods and techniques of the intendance and precaution. The results are satisfactory.
