The uplift of the orogenic belt could influence the air current and climate. There could be a "East China Plateau in Mesozoic like present Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, which influence the climate in eastern China paleocontinent at that time. Some works were conderwent on the late Mesozoic land sediments in "East China Plateau" by stratigraphy, sedimentology, mineralogy and lithology to reconstract the paleoclimate in this area, and to better understand the procession on paleoclimate. Paleontology, stratigraphy and paleoclimate were collected, and thin sections, TEM and x-ray diffraction of sandstone and mudstone samples, are used to substract paleoclimate.Primary condusions are made as: (1) in Middle Jurassic, It was dry and cold in the east of Liaoning province, and it was warm and moist in the north of Shanxi province, but in the late of this epoch there were two times dryness. It was under alternating arid and humid in the west of Shandong province and it was moist and semi-moist in the north of Jiangsu province. (2) in Late Jurassic, It was dry in the east of Liaoning province and the west of Shandong province, because of the volcanic sedimentation in those areas. It was semi-arid sutropical climate in the north of Shanxi province, and it was moist and semi-moist in the north of Jiangsu Province. (3) in Early Cretaceous, It was warm and moist in the east of Liaoning province, north of Shanxi province and west of Shandong province. But it was dry and hot in the southwest of Henan province, and it was arid and semi-arid in the north of Jiangsu province. (4) in Late Cretaceous, It was dry and in the east of Liaoning province, and it was semi-arid and semi-moist in the north of Shanxi province and the west of Shandong province. But it was dry and semi-dry tropic and semi-tropci in the southwest of Henan province and north of Jiangsu province. It is proposed that the climate in the north of China and its adjacent areas was possibly influenced by the "East China Plateau" in Mesozoic, but the scope of the "East China Plateau", the time of its uplifting and disappearing different from the former researchers.
