As an important form of meteorological operation, supportability on meteorological equipment can improve the observation, information transmitted, and the weather forecast.Now days, many new meteorological equipments have greatly enriched the weather observation system in our nation. However, the running Techno- supportability system still can not meet the real need of the daily operations, that is, not only the amount but also the types. As we all know, the information-based technology will increase the efficiency of supportability operations. So some of the meteorology branches have builds their supportability systems for the province-range operations of meteorological equipment supportability.Though, there are information-based management systems in different province, the external demands remaining, this means a countrywide information-based system. So, the paper is mainly describing some researches in the Systems Engineering of information-based techno-supportability for meteorological equipment.By using the system thinking of Systems Engineering, meteorological equipment supportability can be divide into 6 subsystems, 3 kind of systematic standards, and 2 level of construction. Then the paper try to analyzed the relationships between the systems inside, find the logical contact and the physical link, describe the environment of this systems engineering. At the end of this paper, the author also give some optimizing tools and mathematics models which is widely included in the systems engineering of information-based techno- supportability for meteorological equipment.Generally, as an important technological measure, Systems Engineering is far used in many fields, such as strategics, economics, agricultures, etc. However, in meteorological equipment supportability field, SE is not enough. This paper tries to touch the using of SE into a practicality system of the field. It may regard as an innovative point of this paper mostly.
