By using the daily observational data at 63 stations in Xinjiang during 1961-2005, the features of air temperature, precipitation and circulation variations are investigated. The result is found:①The air temperature has obvious increasing trend, especially at the northwest part of Xinjiang Province. The increasing extent of temperature in winter reached peak value, which is 2.43℃/45a.②In the same period, the maximum and minimum temperature also increased distinctly in most area of Xinjiang, result in and significant decreasing of DTR, especially in winter season. We found the decreasing DTR is mainly contributed by the faster increase of temperature at nighttime than it at daytime. And the global warming effect could accelerate the decreasing of DTR over Xinjiang province.③The precipitation in Xinjiang has obvious increasing trend from 1961, 1986 is the turning point .the annual mean amount of precipitation is 155mm, it's increaser extent reached 50mm/45a.The change of precipitation in each part is discussed, the results has showed that the increasing percentage of precipitation in northern Xinjiang is smaller than in south. The precipitation has obvious increasing trend at both nighttime and daytime, in aspects of amount and distribution, the increase of them showed sameness.④based on the drought and flood that had been definded, the relation between the atmospheric circulation and rainfall patterns during summer and winter in Xinjiang is discussed, the result that in drought years prominent circulation anomalies inverse in flood years. The big-scale circulation background may be a important reason which effected the anomalous precipitation in Xinjiang.
