Particles of ZnFe2O4, MnFe2O4and CoFe2O4 are prepared by a chemical coprecipitation method; ferrofluids of ZnFe2O4 and MnFe2O4 are prepared to use the method of Massart, binary ferrofluids is produced by fully mixing ZnFe-2O4 and MnFe2O4 ferrofluids at volume ratio 4:1.The crystal structure, atom ration and morphology are analyzed by XRD,TEM,EDX, respectively. The results show that particles are preferable crystal, the atom ration between M(Co,Zn) and Fe is about 1:2, the morphology of both the MFe2O4 (M= Co,Zn,Mn) particles are basically sphere, the median value of the ZnFe2O4 particles diameter is 4.22nm, the median value of the MnFe2O4 particles diameter is 16.46nm and the median value of the CoFe2O4 particles diameter is 12.76nm.The magnetization of the system of ferrofluids and mixed binary nanoparticles system are measured by VSM. It is obtained that the first magnetize curve, coercive force, saturation magnetization. The results show that magnetization of the binary system are not simplify added from magnetization of the every system.The transmitted ration of light through ferrofluids under stable magnetic field is measured. The experimental results are explained with the model of chain-formed of particles and movement of the chain in ferrofluids.The self-formed ionic ferrofluids of ZnFe2O4 can be a magnetic gel under a suitably condition. The condition and basic physical properties of the ZnFe2O4 magnetic gel are preliminary researched.
