In this paper, the author has collected and identified 48 species belonging to 3 subfamily 15 genus of the Family Araneidae from Inner Mongolia, China. Of which, 6 species are new to science, named Araneus angulatoides sp. nov.,Araneus baotouensis sp. nov., Araneus fuscocolorata sp. nov.,Araneus pseudopinguis sp.nov.,Larinia calcariformis, sp. nov. and Araneus uritai sp. nov. ;one male new recovery:Araneus linshuensis Yin et al., 1990.; 2 species is reviewed. An analysis of the species of Araneidae composition in this area and a comparison of the spider faunas between Inner Mongolia and its adjacent provinces and country are made in the paper as well. The distribution and ecology of the spiders are discussed with related to the characters of the geography. Based on a analysis of all the species and their distribution, the more species from Inner Mongolia are palaearctic realm of origin (66.67% of all). There is 16 species (33.33%of all) are palaearctic realm and oriental realm of origin. 13 species (27.08% of all) collected from the North-east China region; 3 species (6.25%of all) collected from Meng-Xinjiang region, 2 species (4.17%of all) collected from Hua-Bei region.
