When the vehicle passes the bridge with the certain speed, bridge will produce dynamic effect, such as vibration and pound, etc. The vibration of the bridge also have an effect on the vibration of vehicles at the same time. This kind of interaction is called vehicle-bridge coupled vibration. In the practice, predecessors have affirmed that the vehicle moving loads would lead to more deformations and stresses for bridge structures.In this dissertation, based on summarizing and absorbing the achievement in the pioneer works, the coupled vibration of vehicle-bridge system is studied, and the main research work is as follows:1,Building a semi-active nonlinear 8-dofs integrity suspension system model, which simulating the run on the road reality and the ride comfort of the motorman was considered. The nonlinear characters with the model were simulated by random excitement. Form the results of this thesis,the nonliner dynamic behavior of the vehicle suspension using MR can be realized deeply. It sets a attempt of groping for the high dofs stucution. The result build a theoretical foundation for further study of nonliner mechanism and control of the vihicle suspension system.2,When any order natural frequency of bridge to the first natural frequency of cable become the comparison relation, the cable also may produce the significant amplitude vibration. Nonlinear equations for the coupled vibration of cables and bridge are constructed. Through the numerical computation of the nonlinear equations constructed, the time history curves and the amplitude-frequency curves of cables and bridge are obtained, when any order natural frequency of oscillation of bridge is in the neighborhood of two or one times the first natural frequency of corresponding stayed cable. The results are shown that the resonance amplitude value of the cable mainly is related with wind velocity, the ratio of any order natural frequency of bridge to the first natural frequency of cable, the first natural frequency of cable, amplitude value of bridge when the beginning to start to move.3,When vehicle passes by bridge, it has been all the time attracted abroad attention due to its close relation to practical applications. At first, in this thesis, based on the reference to kinds of literature, it is presented on wit-h a concise review of vehicle-bridge vibration, history is reviewed, and so-me problems and further research work of the methods are discussed.(1)For the even simply supported beam, theory analysis research of moving vehicle to the bridge is given;(2)The model of vehicle-bridge is simplified, non-linear coupled vibration of vehicle-bridge is mainly discussed, solution to the non-vibration is presented.(3)A calculating program is made with MATLAB and Maple, numeric solutions are obtained, meanwhile, a series of response figures are drawn according to the solutions. (4)It is primarily discussed that the non-linear fact has an effect on the dynamic behavior of vehicle-bridge;(5)The model of vehicle-bridge is equally simplified, and its numerical solution and analytical solution is given. Based on the vibration characteristic of vehicle-bridge system, we hope that the analysis solutions can supply reliable reference result to design and work method of engineering structures.
