It has been shown that there are indications of oil and gas in the third member of DongYing formation of the JX Oil Field by exploration results.Based on the data of drilling core,well logging,seimic,testing and predecessors,reslts,this text may study the sedimentary facies and reservoir characteristics of the third member of DongYing formation deeply.First,Analysis of sedimentary facies and microfacies is being carried out.And the result is also being shown that the upper third member of Dongying formation of the west area is well developed reservoir.Deltaic front subfacies is believed to the main sedimentation types of the upper third member of Dongying formation .And the types of the microfacies include mouth bar, branch channel and flood plain.Among which, mouth bar and branch channel are relatively good in reservoir characteristic, while flood plain is poor. The distribution of the sand is dominented by the types of the sedimentary facies and the microfacies, Further More, The accumulation and distribution of oil and gas is also controlled by them. Second,based on the above, The physical property of the reservoir is being carried on researching.While influential factors of the reservoir physical property are also being analysed.It has been pointed out that deposition,diagenic metamorphism and tectonic movement are key factors which cause the physical property differences among various kinds of sedimentary microfacies. Thirdly, beginning with the characters of sedimentary rocks, the original text carries out further investigations on the topic of lithogeny influencing to pore. While the reasons which create the differences of physical property and heterogeneity among various kinds of microfacies are also in depth exploration. The last but not the least, the test probes into the reservoir character influencing to the accumulation and distribution of oil and gas. It has been indicated that the main reasons which bring about complexity of the accumulation and distribution of oil and gas are the sedimentary facies and microfacies. In addition, the tectonic movement and lithogeny influence the accumulation and distribution of the oil and gas in a certain degree. It has been indicated that the main reasons which bring about complexity of the accumulation and distribution of oil and gas are the sedimentary facies and microfacies.
