Based on the extensive investigation, collection, indentification of the algae specimens and the study of documents. The results showed that there are 432 species (including 376 species, 54 varieties and 2 forms),belonging to 96 genera 45 families 24 orders 8 classes and 6 divisions. Among them, 99 species belong to Cyanophyta, occupying 22.92% of the total species.1 species belong to Rhodophyta, occupying 0.23% of the total species. 1 species belong to Chrysophyta, occupying 0.23% of the total species.200 species belong to Bacillariophyta, occupying 46.30%.2 species Euglenophyta, occupying 0.46%.129 species Chlorophyta, occupying 29.86%. The algae are that Cyanophyta becomes dominant species in Leigong Mountain Nature Reserve. So,the algae in Leigong Mountain Nature Reserve is that Bacillariophyta becomes dominant species. The phenomenon is that advantage families is distinct, not only quantity of genera but also quantity of species in study area. Naviculaceae and Desmidiaceae are advantage families in the study area. There are 79 species as new records of algle for Guizhou province. The study area have tropical class ;As well as the class of high altitude and latitude is that living in water, so the area is characterd from subtropic to warmth elements.By the methods of comprehensive index, comparing dominant genera and species and similarity of genus, the algae is compared in abundance and relationship sites,as well as between Leigong Mountain Nature Reserve and other 8 areas in China. The results are as follows:Firstly, among 6 sites of picking in Leigong Mountain Nature Reserve, for abundance index, the highest one is Fangxiang, than is Leigong Mountain, the lowest one is Leigongping. Secondly, for similar index about genera, the six areas are near relationship for each, the nearest relationship is between Fangxiang and Leigong Mountain, than is between Fangxiang and Xiaodan River; the lowest similar index is between Xi River and Leigongping. For similar index about species, the lowest relationship is among Xi River and else, the nearest relationship is between Xiang Water Stone and Xiaodan River, than is between Fangxiang and Xiaodan River; the lowest relationship is between Fangxiang and Leigongping。Not only for similar index about genera but also for similar index about species, the nearest relationship is between Fangxiang and Xiaodan River.Thirdly, for abundance index, the highest one is Hunan Wuling ,then is Leigong Mountain Nature Reserve. The algae are very rich in the study area。The dry environment have 25 species only, occupying 5.79% of the total species; The moisty environment have 89 species only, occupying 20.60% of the total species; The watery environment have 165 species only, occupying 38.19% of the total species。According to environment of livelihood, the algae live in complex environment. The algae have some acidophil species, but also have some alkaline species.
