Rare earth crystal is promising for using in all kinds of the laser operation:Pulse,Q-switch,UV-VIS-NIR-MIR(0.286-3.91μm)laser output and so on.KY(WO4)2,KGd(WO4)2Crystals is an important of inflexibility,physicality and chemical action.The optical spectrum and structure character have been studied in this thesis.The optical spectrum,such as Absorption spectrum,Fluoscence,Upconversion Luminescence and Raman,were analyzed and reported.The levels was distinguished with the absorption spectrum at room temperature.The optical parameter were calculated by Judd-Ofelt theory.Relationship of the difference structure and optical character was given.Moreover,the polar spectrum was tested and polar character was discussed.Upconversion is one of the nature for Nd:KYW,Nd:KGW crystals.Using 594 nm and 812 nm wavelength excited crystals,will be more clear on the conversion of the blue,green and red fluorescence.According to Nd3+ions on the energy-conversion of its mechanism,is excited to excited state absorption process and two cross-relaxation mechanism.Nd3+ion-doped on the concentration of 3 at%,5at%,8at%of the conversion KGW crystal fluorescence analysis,found that as concentrations increase,on-conversion have not been significant differences,the concentration of 8 at%concentration has yet to appear Quenching.Study the matrix KYW,KGW crystal molecular vibration mode and vibration characteristics by the test of Raman spectroscopy,the strongest Raman peak from the WOOW stretching vibration.Crystal for the monoclinic C2hgroup,Raman-Ag,Bg,according to Loudon theory and scattering formula to determine the test configuration Y(XX)Z,Y(ZX)Z access to the two corresponding pull-Raman Cayman spectrum.
