Since neural networks have enormous potential in wide varieties of appli-cations, many specialists and scholars apply themselves to the research of thetheory and achieve many perfect productions. In this paper, we perform re-searches of the synchronization of two types neural networks. The main con-tents of this paper include: adaptive synchronization of neural networks withtime-varying delay and distributed delay ,global exponential synchronization indelayed reaction-di?usion cellular neural networks with the Dirichlet boundaryconditions. The main contents in this paper can be summarized as follows:1. Firstly, in the first section, we introduce the developmental process andsignificance of chaos synchronization. then we introduce the research results forsynchronization of neural networks. Finally the organization of this paper isgiven.2. In the second section, the adaptive synchronization of neural networkswith time-varying delay and distributed delay is discussed. Based on the LaSalleinvariant principle of functional di?erential equations and the adaptive feedbackcontrol technique, some su?cient conditions for adaptive synchronization of sucha system are obtained. Finally, a numerical example is given to show the e?ec-tiveness of the proposed synchronization method.3. In the third section, the global exponential synchronization for a class ofdelayed reaction-di?usion cellular neural networks with the Dirichlet boundaryconditions are discussed. Some new su?cient conditions which include the dif-fusion coe?cients are obtained by using the Lyapunov functional method, many real parameters and inequality techniques. Particularly, di?erently from previousworks, in our results the e?ect of the di?usion terms on the synchronization areconsidered for the first time. Finally, a numerical example is given to verify ourresults.
