Xin 15 fault block reservoir is located in the core of Xinzhen anticline structure, which has complex structure and is severely faulted, and whose deposition faces from the bottom up are mainly from delta front estuary dam to delta plain distributary channel. It mainly has fined sandstone and sandstone in formations and whose porosity is 23 percent, and the permeability is 326×10-3 m2. It has stronger heterogeneity in vertical and its difference in properties is apparent. In short, the whole Xin 15 fault block reservoir is a typical complex faulted reservoir.From the geological conditions in this fault reservoir, it is deeply analyzed that the structure and deposition inside. Based on the geological environments, making use of the reservoir engineer methods, it has been put forward many useful recognitions, including the problems in the reservoir development, how to find the potential area in reservoir, the feasibility of various projects, and the matching suits of the relative development projects.The main parts of this dissertation are to take advantage of the numerical simulation to analyze the watering extent in the formations, further to find the remaining oil enriched zone; on the other hand, according with the potential conditions in formations and the problems in the development history, many measures aiming at those problems have been summit, including drilling horizontal wells and refining series of strata. The formations in this fault reservoir from the bottom up are classified into SⅡ7-8, SⅡ9-10, SⅡ14-w1 and SⅡw2-4. Also, the production ability the efficient are predicted by the individual characters of the series.It is applied that drilling data and seismic profile data of over 300 wells in the project area and the neighbour area, and combined with the dynamic production materials, in the end doing the finest geological description. Based on the 9 water wells'17 times absorbing materials data, logging data of 22 new wells, saturation data of 4 wells and the production and dynamic monitoring data of 30 oil and water wells, as well as the reservoir numerical simulation data, it is finally quantitatively described the watering conditions and the residual oil distribution of the many sand cubics. Aiming at the condition of the different formations, we have drawed the according adjustment to improve their potential.It is hopeful that this dissertation's publication will give some reference and the good example to the same type reservoir in the later oil field production.
