Sound wave character of the rock is a kind of important parameter that can reflect mechanic, physics and mechanics of the rock. Understanding elastic wave propagation and influencing factors in such complex porous multiphase formation is becoming an interesting topic. The achieve results will play an important roles in application and have important academic signification.In this paper, ultrasonic wave experiment is used as main researching tools, and the following aspects are carried out with some important experimental rules.First, the paper totally introduced sound wave principle and its application, technique application example and its foregrounds.Second, v_P and v_S are measured under room temperature and pressure. The measurement results show that when the rocks were dry, v_P and v_S increase slightly, v_P/v_S,Poisson's ratio decrease slightly, Yong's modulus,shear modulus reduce.Third, under the condition of 28~80℃temperature and 5.4~32.1MPaconfining pressure, and through measuring 10 core samples of rocks, a set of complete and reliable data has been got. The measurement results show that the v_P increased logarithmically with pressure and decreased linearly with increased temperature.Finally, under the performance of oil injection, petrophysical elastic measurements are carried out on four samples in laboratory.,and the changing curves with regard to the saturation are presented. The measurement results show that in the process of oil expelled by water, the tendency of v_P increased with oil saturation increasing and water saturation decreasing.
