The relation between classical and quantum mechanics has been a subject of much current research in physics ,chemistry and some other related fields. Researches discover that the most suitable method for the studying of relations between microscopic and macroscopic world, namely the relation between quantum mechanics and the classical mechanics, is using Rydberg states. On the bases of fore-researchers' working, this paper carry on some further research about the evolution and revival structure of Rydberg wave packets. Totally, this paper includes four parts: Chapter 1, present a generic treatment of the evolution and revival structure of Rydberg wave packets in different systems, define the time scales controlling the evolution and revival behavior, using these times scales we introduce various types of revival structures occurring in ideal form. The result is illustrated with simple quantum systems [include the simple harmonic oscillator, infinite square well, rigid rotator ,etc.]; Chapter 2, take hydrogen atom as an example, study the long-term revival and evolution structure of Rydberg wave packets on time scales muchbigger than trev. The method here is to build autocorrelation function and expand thewave function into a set of subsidiary wave functions which is different from those of past; Chapter 3,study the revival structure of Rydberg wave packet in a finite square well. Thetime scales Tcl,trev,tsr, in a finite square well, exhibit a stronger dependence on wavepacket energy and well depth than in any other quantum systems. In certain regions of validity, the time scales predict the instances of Rydberg wave packet reformation extremely accurately. Revivals at the bottom of the well are perfectly resemble the phenomenon in a infinite square well; Chapters 4, summarize the whole paper, and carry on an outlook of the future study in this realm.
